Chabad-Lubavitch Chasidim Struggle With Life-Threatening Alcoholism Epidemic

It has long been known that alcoholism is a significant problem in Chabad-Lubavitch, but even I was surprised at some of the hair-raising details I saw in a just-published article on the problem, and in the many comments on it.

While the Chabad-Lubavitch PR machine tries to convince people (esp. those far from Crown Heights and those that know little about them) that they are about to bring Moshiach, with their airbrushed propaganda about far-away shluchim, the reality of much of the group is far different.

Why aren't these "Chasidim" getting high on avodas Hashem instead of alcohol, drugs, and other mishugasen?

May Hashem help us see the truth about things, and be spared from all types of deception and corruption.

  1. You Chabad hating snags just can't leave us alone. You know how perfect we are and so you have to make up stories to defamate us. I'm sure that site is not really COLLive and I hope they sue you. We have the Rebbuh who neither slumbers nor sleeps so there are no problems in Chabad. And if there is an issue we just open the Igros and the Rebbuh solves it. Ah freiliche Peerim.

  2. that problem (perhaps there is a void for some reason?) seems to trigger, as if ur x tian the segment of who don't understand that problems are there to be solved with compassion (the valid one of those non position inclined inner attitudes is good practice); not 'triggering' for you looks as if posts with valid content should be addressed with some explanation (properly, like ooh it's important for some reason), but seems to largely be neglected.
